Interested in learning more about the ERI Scholarship Program?

Applications for the 2026-2027 Scholarship Program have closed. 

Every year since its 75th anniversary in 1989 Food Northwest and its Education and Research Institute have awarded scholarships to deserving students in the states of Idaho, Oregon and Washington.  The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage students to pursue a career in the food industry and to encourage and support industry employees to further their education. 

Two types of scholarships are offered:

1.   University Scholarships

Open to students pursuing degrees at the University of Idaho, Oregon State University and Washington State University.

Open to current full-time employees and family of Food Northwest food processor and supplier member companies.
